🛠️Tools of the Week🛠️
GPTZero
AI Automation

As the days pass, AI continues to get smarter, and the gap between what is machine and what is human gets smaller and smaller. Can you say, Skynet!
We’ve seen some discussion across the internet relating to CV’s, Job adverts and social posts being written by AI, and whether its ethical or “right” thing to use. We made a predication that ATS’s or SaaS builders would eventually build a tool that can somehow tell what CV’s have been AI generated, or at least had a helping hand by Gen AI. GPTZero is bringing us one step closer to that realisation
🚀 What is it and how does it work? GPTZero is the leading AI-text detection platform. They give their users the ability to distinguish human-written text from AI-generated text, and enable responsible adoption of AI.
User can copy and paste text that you want to check, or upload your file. The platform will return an overall detection of the doc for you, as well as sentence-by-sentence highlighting of sentences where they’ve detected AI. The service will also help you interpret the results with a description of the result, instead of just returning a number.
You can also download their Chrome Extension, Origin, which allows you to scan the entire web page you’re browsing in one click if you want to run the AI detector whilst browsing.
💡 Who is it for? Anyone looking at and reviewing CV’s, and wants to make an effort to keep processes fair by reducing the use of AI. However, there is still an ongoing debate regarding use of AI in applications and CV’s amongst the TA community.
💸 How much does it cost? GPTZero offers a Basic plan for free which gives you up to 10k works a month and access to their Chrome extension.
Next is their Essential plan for $10/month that gives you up to 150k words a to scan.
Their Premium plan cost $16/month and gives you up to 300k words a month and the ability to invite team members.

GoodTime
Interview Scheduling

I’m sure we’re not the only ones that spend countless hour scheduling and rescheduling interviews. It’s probably the number one time-sucking admin activity for recruiters. Lets look at how GoodTime can help reduce time spent in this area.
🚀 What is it and how does it work? GoodTime helps talent acquisition teams hire faster by automating the interview scheduling, candidate communications, and more. Their AI tech instantly schedules simple and complex interviews either 1:1 or in bulk, allowing teams spend less time scheduling and more time focused on high-value work, as they put it.
Goodtime actually has two products; Hire, which is for recruitment teams and Meet, built for individuals which is similar to the widely used Calendly. Lets focus on Hire for now.
Hire lets you automate the whole scheduling process, allowing its users to coordinate single and multi-day interviews, send calendar invites, agendas, and reminders, taking into account for time zones automatically, whilst integrating in to a number ATS’s and interviewing tools like Zoom and Teams. GoodTime has a strong relationship with Greenhouse, so that integration is likely to be seamless.
Goodtime has some great tech that gives you data insights to help you better run your interview process, including an automated intelligent interviewer selection feature, interview training management, and workflow & team coordination. To be honest, there’s too much to cover in detail in one post, so we strongly suggest you head over to the site for more info. The link is below
💡 Who is it for? Internal TA teams who do their own scheduling, recruitment coordinators. Great for anyone involved in high volume hiring!
💸 How much does it cost? Pricing not publicly available.

Polywork
Personal Branding

Polywork is probably one more suited to the contract or freelance recruiter, although we can also see a good user case for it to be used by FTE TA’s and recruiters when they are in-between roles or looking for the next opportunity. This could be a great tool to be used to stand out from the crowd who are just using normal text based CV’s.
🚀 What is it and how does it work? Simply put, Polywork allows you to turn your LinkedIn in page into beautiful looking and slick website.
Using AI, the platform turns your LinkedIn page into your own branded website, that can be used to boost personal branding or as CV/portfolio that can be shared externally
Layout, design and even the writing of your bio can all be automated, although, we advise to try and write your own bio if you can. Nothing beats a human touch!
Check out some of the examples on their website, they’re pretty impressive!
💡 Who is it for? As mentioned, we think it would do well in the hands of a contract or freelance recruiter who are changing companies regularly. Just like professionals in the creative filed, the companies you’ve worked at could be displayed in a portfolio style to be shown like a badge of honour.
We also think it could be a useful tool for FTE recruiters as well, from a personal branding stand-point or online CV to be used as and when.
💸 How much does it cost? Polywork offers 2 plans. Their Free plans gives you limited AI content generation and limited website blocks. However, their Premium plan, which can be paid for either monthly or yearly (20% saving on yearly plan), gives you unlimited site blocks, unlimited AI generation and unlimited visual layouts
🧰 Alternatives: Framer / Linktree / Square Space
