We are seeing more and more talent market places come to market, especially in the tech world. The idea makes complete sense and we can see the opportunity for both candidates and companies alike, cutting down both sourcing and job searching time.

🚀 What is it and how does it work? Hackajob is a talent market place focused on technology disciplines. The platform allows candidates to make a profile, showcasing their experience past work and projects, along with their desired role preferences. Their profiles are made searchable by companies who have signed up to use the service, who can then request to interview the candidates, normally getting a quick response.

Hackajob also provides an insights tool which gives you with the latest tech marketplace data, including salary, location, and in-demand skill sets. You can explore new tech hubs, benchmark your salary offering against the industry, and measure up to your competitors

💡 Who is it for? We think the best user case is for growing and established brands rather than agencies. It seem like a great place to promote a brand as an employer and will as a place to do sourcing

Another great market place for getting in front of tech and product candidates. Market places can be the perfect platforms to increase your application relevancy and make communication with candidate seamless. Lets dive into how Cord helps companies build their perfect teams

🚀 What is it and how does it work? Cords is a hiring tool that gives companies direct access to active, relevant and pre-qualified candidates in the tech and product space. It also offers a very easy to use and simple person-to-person messaging tool that allows for better response rates and engagement. Imagine a candidate getting a direct message from you stressing interest in their profile after they have already answered pre-qualifying questions. There would be a lot more motivation to respond.

Employers and recruiters should start looking at the outreach campaigns as they would a marketing campaign for their own product. This should include promoting the employer brand even when there is no hiring happening but especially when there is. Both paid and organic campaigns should be looked at, as well as the continuous use of social media as a channel to reach both passive and active candidates.
